Southview Acres Health Care Center is hiring for a Human Resource Assistant/ Payroll Clerk to join our team!
Job Title: Human Resource Assistant/ Payroll Clerk
Location: On-Site at Southview Acres Health Care Center, located in West St. Paul, MN.
The primary purpose of this position is to assist with the day to day human resource operations of the HR Department in accordance with current acceptance policies and procedures. Ensuring that all regulations and Labor Laws are followed and that payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for processing all facility payrolls after it has been verified
- Complete, type, proofread, correct, maintain and provide forms, and reports.
- Participate and cooperate in any auding process.
- Cooperates with any facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies
- Maintain all employees' attendance records
- Process correspondence related to payroll and human resources
- Verify employment data and backgrounds on job applicants.
- Assist in orientating new employees.
- Maintain all benefit records.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
- 2 years of college or a degree in accounting preferred.
Experience:
- Two or more years of experience in HR and Payroll
- Experience in SNF or similiar
Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Knoledgeable of administrative practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to employment law, wage and hour rules, labor relations, OSHA, privacy act, etc.
- Must have ability to act as liaison between personnel and management.
- Must be knoledgeable of computers, calculators, system applications and other office equipment.
