As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining positive employee relations within an organization. This role involves handling employee grievances, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work environment. Overall, a Human Resources Generalist plays a critical role in maintaining positive employee relations, strong communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of HR best practices, and the ability to handle sensitive employee issues with empathy and professionalism are essential for success in this role. This role will require you to be in-person Monday – Friday at our corporate offices in Sugar Land, TX, and is not remote or hybrid.

HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As an integral member of the Human Resources Team, this position is responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Acting as a point of contact for employees, addressing their concerns, and resolving conflicts. Building and maintaining positive relationships with employees to ensure a productive and harmonious work environment.
- Employee Grievance Handling: Managing employee grievances and conducting thorough investigations to resolve issues effectively and in a timely manner. Providing guidance and support to employees and managers throughout the grievance process.
- Conflict Resolution: Facilitating conflict resolution between employees or between employees and management. Mediating disputes and finding mutually beneficial solutions to maintain positive working relationships.
- Employee Engagement: Developing and implementing initiatives to promote employee engagement and satisfaction. Collaborating with management to create programs that foster a positive work culture and enhance employee morale.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and values. Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Training and Development: Identifying training needs related to employee relations and delivering training programs to enhance employee skills in conflict resolution, communication, and interpersonal relationships.
- Performance Management: Assisting in the performance management process, including providing guidance to managers on handling performance issues, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing performance improvement plans.
- HR Administration: Managing HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and managing benefits administration. Ensuring accurate and timely documentation and record-keeping.
- Compliance: Staying updated on changes in employment laws and regulations related to employee relations. Ensuring compliance with these laws and implementing necessary changes to HR practices and policies.
HERE'S WHAT Education & Experience YOU WILL NEED:
- High school diploma required.
- Experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business desired
