About the Job
Parker & Sons is looking for a dependable and outgoing HR Administator to join our team in Tucson! As an HR Professional at Parker & Sons, you will play a critical role in our company, managing all essential HR administrative task, including employee relations. You will help to create a bridge of communication, information flow and data management between the employees and the company while maintaining confidentiality.
This role is on-site in the office, M-F from 7am-4pm.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with conducting final HR interviews with candidates, if necessary
- Process background check and drug test orders for candidates in the hiring process
- Process Home Depot background checks for badging process
- Conduct the onboarding new hire process in UKG with new hires (collect identification for I-9 processing and walk employees through new hire orientation)
- Assist hiring managers with employee relations issues, employee discipline processes, compliance training and performance reviews
- Conduct exit interviews with employees leaving the company
- Process required paperwork for employee changes and terminations, and notify appropriate personnel
- Track/maintain new hire and termination lists
- File miscellaneous employee documentation in electronic employee personnel files
- Other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-year high level HR experience, including employee relations
- Exposure to Labor Law and employment equality regulations
- Effective HR administration and people management skills
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with all employee information
- People person who is friendly and outgoing
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access office machinery (copier/printer, etc.)
- Constantly operates office machinery, such as a computer, phone, copy machine, printer.
- Constantly communicates with management team and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information.
- Constantly works in an indoor office setting
