We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of human resource practices and processes, supporting business needs and ensuring the proper implementation of company strategies and objectives. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Dallas, Texas and will require 2-3 onsite.
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
Lead and execute HR projects and initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
Compliance and Legal:
Ensure HR policies, processes, and programs adhere to legal standards and best practices in supervision, performance management, and evaluation.
Regularly review and update HR practices to maintain compliance with evolving laws and regulations.
Compensation and Benefits:
Administer and oversee payroll and compensation programs.
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plan, and other rewards, as well as the annual open enrollment periods.
Technology and HR Systems:
Oversee the management of HR technology, systems, and software related to recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and payroll.
Ensure the effective use and integration of HR systems to streamline processes and enhance data management.
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
Direct the recruitment process to attract and secure top talent for both full-time and contract positions.
Manage job postings, screen resumes and candidates, coordinate interviews, and provide hiring recommendations.
Employee Onboarding and Training:
Implement onboarding process to facilitate smooth integration of new employees.
Coordinate and manage training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Performance Management:
Oversee the annual performance review process to assess employee performance and set goals.
Design and manage regular performance check-ins and feedback mechanisms.
Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues and improvement plans.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
Serve as the primary contact for employee questions, concerns, and needs.
Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
Coordinate internal communications, organize company-wide meetings, employee events, recognition programs, and other activities to promote a cohesive and motivated workforce.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of broad HR experience.
- Proven experience managing payroll and benefits using Rippling or similar HRIS system.
- People-oriented and results-driven. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills.
- Ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently.
