We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead and ensure the smooth operation of all HR functions within the organization. You will be responsible for developing HR strategies and advising senior management on related matters. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR knowledge, experience managing teams, and a strategic mindset. Your goal will be to ensure that all HR needs are met and aligned with the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the executive team to develop and implement a comprehensive HR and talent management strategy that supports the organization's vision and goals.
- Regularly communicate with senior management regarding key HR initiatives and issues.
- Oversee recruitment efforts to ensure effective sourcing and selection of qualified candidates.
- Develop talent management strategies to align staffing with business needs.
- Create systems to attract and retain talent, identify key roles, and support leadership development and succession planning.
- Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, leadership development, career pathing, and organizational culture.
- Lead the performance management process, ensuring managers provide ongoing feedback and coaching, and encourage active participation in performance improvement.
- Mitigate legal risks through training, conflict resolution processes, and handling complaints related to harassment, discrimination, and unjust practices.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations at the local, state, and national levels.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with legal standards for record-keeping.
- Design and implement a competitive compensation and benefits package and manage the payroll and benefits enrollment processes.
- Optimize and integrate HR technology to streamline HR services and support data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee HR specialists and support staff, ensuring smooth execution of HR functions.
- Update and maintain the Employee Handbook, ensuring policies are current and compliant with regulations.
- Proficiently use payroll processing software, such as ADP.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- HRCI and/or SHRM certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including partnering with senior leadership on strategic HR initiatives.
- Experience supervising and developing HR staff.
- Expertise in talent management, compensation, benefits, and HR technology systems.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance issues.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to identify and solve problems, think strategically, and make critical decisions.
- High level of discretion, judgment, and sensitivity in handling confidential matters.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR system applications.
- Willingness to travel to satellite office locations as needed.
