Human Resources/Accounting Administrator 

Shift/Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00 am-5:00 pm Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay Rate: $30-$40 per hour
Location: San Jose, CA
Experience: 2-3 years of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Human Resources

Human Resources/Accounting Administrator Job Duties include:

• Will be assisting with open enrollment, benefits updates and execution, compliance, HR-related issues, and paperwork. 

• Filing, scanning, data entry, etc. 

• Must be flexible, able to multitask, able to handle sensitive and confidential matters, be mature, not gossip.

• Must be proactive and take initiative. 

Accounts Payable:

• Ensure that vendor payments are accurate and timely.

• Work closely with purchasing and shipping/receiving. 

• Payments are based on product received vs invoice dates.

• To ensure that the proper amounts are paid, we do a three-way match comparing Vendor PO to invoice and packing slip.

• If there is a miss-match it is the responsibility of accounts payable to determine where the break is before entering it into the ERP system and follow up with the appropriate department to correct the issue. 

• If answers are not given in a timely manner then judgment is required to move the issue to the next level. 

Accounts Receivable:

• Ensure that customer invoices are accurate and timely. We do a two-match and release invoices after packing slips are signed. 

•  All invoices are saved electronically. 

• Work closely with Customer Service and Sales to ensure items are matched to SO.

• Some items are taxable and should be flagged by Customer Service at the point of input.

Human Resources/Accounting Administrator Preferred Skills include:

• Bilingual

• Worked in manufacturing

• Worked on MieTrak

Human Resources/Accounting Administrator Requirements may include:

• Must be a team player (this position may need to do front office break relief, if people are out sick or on vacation), 

• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized

• Must have knowledge of Excel (at least basic)

• Have worked on an ERP system
