Human Resources Assistant (Full-Time /On-Site)

About Us:

Sun Services provides roll-off dumpster service for a wide range of industries within a 75-mile radius of Washington, DC. Sun Services specializes in LEED construction projects through responsible material handling and separation, to detailed project documentation. We are vertically integrated with Sun Recycling, a construction and demolition recycling facility, based in Beltsville, MD to process our customers’ job site waste. Minimum Requirements:

A Sun Human Resources Assistant must have the following:

• 1 year of Administrative Experience
• Considerable level of professionalism
• Reliable transportation
• Technology proficiency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management & organizational skills
• Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work at the office from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday - Friday

About the position:

A Sun Human Resources Assistant is responsible for the following:

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Provide recruitment support to supervisors and managers
• Perform background screenings
• Assist with onboarding of new hires with precision and accuracy
• Tracks, records, and maintains, compliance related to Safety Programs
• Administration of Rewards Recognition programs
• Perform audits, report findings, and correct information as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation details: 18-23 Hourly Wage
