8AM-5PM (Mon - Fri) OT as needed
Looking for a bubbly personality (not scared to make phone calls) and attention to detail.
We are looking for someone who would do well in screening resumes and sharing resumes with our hiring managers. They will be calling candidates to phone screen, send applications, and schedule onsite interviews and other simple admin tasks.
• Greet employees who walk in to HR and take messages for the two HR Business Partners.
• Set up the interview rooms (Find resume on the Outlook calendar and print before the scheduled interview time)
• Greet candidates in the lobby and bring them to the interview rooms.
• E file pre-employment documents (application, onboarding etc)
• In spare time, in the afternoons, assist with organizing the paper file room.
• Other small miscellaneous office duties.
POSITION SUMMARY: With direct supervision responsible for performing administrative duties related to the Human Resources function while maintaining strict confidentiality as required. Administrative duties may include but are not limited to: maintaining employee files, managing HR documents (employment records, onboarding guides, training records, etc.) updating internal databases and providing day to day support to the HR team. Gather data and prepare various routine reports, proofread and correct grammatical, typographical or compositional errors. Process and verify accuracy and completeness of employee status change forms, vacation, and other leave requests, benefits documentation, educational reimbursement requests, etc. Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records and files. Input into and audit HRIS system information such as wage rate*** classifications, payroll data, benefit information, employee history, address changes, etc. Process new hires, transfers, terminations, promotions, performance appraisals, salary increases, employment verifications, etc. Interface with payroll to assist employees in resolving pay discrepancies. Responsible for maintaining bulletin boards including job postings, company announcements and government bulletins. Provide clerical/administrative support such as, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, schedule interviews, coordinate meetings, order office supplies, make travel arrangements and order department stationery and supplies, etc. Perform other related responsibilities as needed.
Job Requirements: One year general office experience including six months of Human Resources experience or equivalent related experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities. Must have general computer proficiency and experience using: Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook. HRIS experience preferred. Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
