About the Job
SUMMARY: Human Resources Assistant processes, verifies, and maintains personnel employment-related documentation, and works in close coordination with the activities of the IL coordinators to ensure quality service to consumers by performing the following duties.
THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED OUT OF THE JEANETTE OFFICE, BUT REGULAR TRAVEL TO THE DONORA, AND PENN HILLS OFFICE REQUIRED!
You will be required to work at all 3 Locations, Regular travel involved, DON Service's vehicles will be available for use.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre-screens employment applications, obtains necessary background checks and clearances for onboarding.
Prepares and completes attendant hiring packages.
Recruit new applicants and review resumes to match applicants with job requirements to meet hiring needs.
Enters attendant and consumer information into internal databases, such as In-Site, Viventium , HHAeXchange and HRMS, and any other databases deemed necessary.
Explains company personnel policies and procedures to employees and/or job applicants.
Offers assistance with specific training courses to help the candidate with the onboarding process.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS:
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in a group problem solving situation; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Assess own strengths and weaknesses; pursues training and development opportunities; strives to continuously build knowledge. Possess knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software and data base software.
