The HR Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting our HR department's daily operations. This role will assist with various HR tasks, from onboarding new employees to maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruiting Support:
- Assisting in the recruiting process, including job postings, candidate screening and interview coordination.
- Maintain and update job descriptions and job postings in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Conducting reference checks and assist with candidate background checks.
- Onboarding:
- Coordinating new hire orientation and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires
- Create new hire announcements & Kudo boards.
- Set up new hires profiles in the HR Information System (HRIS)
- Maintain company org charts.
- HRIS Management:
- Maintain accurate and up to date employment records in the HRIS.
- Generate reports from HRIS as needed for various HR initiatives and compliance requirements.
- Performance Reviews:
- Create new hire profiles in the performance management system.
- Maintain performance management system.
- Coordinating the performance review process
- Compliance and Policies:
- Assist in the development and distribution of HR policies and employee communications.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as point of contact for employees HR related inquiries and provide a timely response.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 1-3 years of human resources experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with a great attention to detail
- Ability to flex when handling multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
