Human Resources Assistant
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Physical Requirements: Normal Office Environment
Hours of Work: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Pay Range: The pay range is $16.80 to $24.00
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. AAS Degree in related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years experience in a clerical position.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
- Must be able to speak and read English.
- Must be able to travel within the Capital District as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide clerical support to the Human Resources department to include but not limited to: copying, filing, data entry, and assist with reference checks.
- Assist the Training department with scheduling and attendance tracking as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate input/ tracking of all background check results.
- Responsible for the timely and accurate data entry of all new hires and agency change forms.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee files both electronically and hard copy.
- Act as backup to receptionist as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
