Adagio Health Inc is looking to hire a full-time Human Resources Coordinator for its Pittsburgh, PA central office.

For over 50 years, Adagio Health (AH) has provided health, wellness, & nutrition services in Pennsylvania (PA). Today, the organization serves approximately 100,000 patients & clients annually. While women's health is a primary focus for the organization, reproductive health, breast & cervical cancer screening, & preventive health services are also offered to men, teens, members of the LGBTQ+ community, & anyone in need of care in a welcoming, confidential setting. AH operates 9 medical offices in western PA that also address social determinants of health such as food insecurity, behavioral health, & care navigation; manages the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) program in 5 PA counties; promotes tobacco/vaping prevention & cessation; oversees breast & cervical cancer screening & treatment programs across PA; & empowers local communities to address nutritional, reproductive, & behavioral health; positive relationship building; & life skills through an array of clinical & education programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work directly with HR Manager to support employee human resources and compliance requirements
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance, acting as a liaison between employees and benefits providers.
- Collaborate with senior staff to understand hiring needs, post jobs, update job descriptions, utilize various strategies to seek candidates. Conduct preliminary screening interviews. Ensure timely response to candidates.
- Perform pre-employment checks and on-boarding follow up to ensure personnel files are complete and up-to-date.
- Understand training requirements of all employee groups. Coordinate training reminders and update employee records.
- Assist with benefits paperwork and record keeping, including reviewing and auditing all benefits invoices for monthly additions and deletions. Administration and supervision of all employee benefit changes
- Conduct exit interviews and ensure that exiting employees are provided with necessary paperwork.
- Strengthen employee engagement and support through assisting to resolve employee problems with hiring, retention, employee engagement, benefits and more
- Maintain employee files and manage electronic data.
- Assist with annual benefits open enrollment, on-boarding, and terminations; audit invoices periodically to ensure accuracy.
- Background checks process references, employment, background and motor vehicle record requests for volunteers and staff within 48 hours of receipt
- Other duties as assigned by Manager of Human Resources
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR
- Bachelors degree and 5+ years administrative experience in human resources role.
- Employee relations experience and HR certification a plus
- Experience in social media recruiting a plus.
- Strong experience in Microsoft Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint specifically) and experience with payroll and HR databases (iSolved/CTR a plus)
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality, be reliable and exhibit excellent customer service
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, especially with electronic data, multi-tasking, ability to work independently and compose letters/documents
- Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check, The Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance and a FBI Criminal History Background Check required
- Current valid Pennsylvania driver's license, insurance, and vehicle
