We’re seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to empower Mission Lane’s Customer Operations, Finance, and Legal leaders to run world-class, competitive organizations, as we enter into our exciting next phase of growth, innovation, and service.
In this crucial role, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment as a strategic partner with senior management and business leaders. You’ll drive business transformations, enhance HR practices, and build strong relationships with leaders and employees to foster a people-first culture. With a data-driven mindset and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, you’ll be the vital link between the strategic initiatives of Mission Lane and the people responsible for achieving them.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Develop a talent strategy that supports Mission Lane’s business initiatives and long-term objectives
• Drive employee engagement and connection in a distributed environment with the ability to communicate effectively and deliver high-impact and influence
• Design and execute HR initiatives focused on making the organization more effective (e.g. performance management cycle, forward-thinking retention strategies, and employee development programs)
• Proactively identify where and when transformation is required for business success and act as a change agent
• Support and guide the business with organizational change and development required for success in the marketplace
• Handle tactical HR administrative duties, like managing employee relations, as required
• Serve as counselor and or advocate to employees and business leaders regarding company policies, employee performance, culture/work environment
You’ll thrive in this role, if:
• You have a degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• You have proven experience empowering Customer Operations, Legal, and Finance organization(s) to thrive as a team and win in a competitive marketplace.
• You are data-driven and have experience leveraging robust data and metrics to provide insight and guidance to drive change.
• You work at a high level of autonomy and can manage multiple ongoing issues and complex employee matters with minimum supervision.
• You have strong business acumen and the ability to influence and develop deep working relationships with leaders.
• You have an instinctive, insatiable drive to make things better.
• You are curious, use good judgment, and are quickly able to process a situation, find leverage, and develop creative solutions.
• You are a lifelong learner - self-motivated to pursue knowledge and experience that keeps you at the forefront of your field.
• You have deep knowledge of HR compliance regulations, employment laws, and industry best practices.
