The successful candidate will be comfortable leading and influencing change at all levels of the organization.

As an HR Business Partner, you will:

• Support the development and delivery of innovation within the HR function.
• Develop and continuously improve effective HR programs that align with and achieve business objectives.
• Lead with operational excellence and a continuous improvement mindset within the business and global HR function.
• Serve as a trusted consultant to leadership, leading from the middle and influencing all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate closely with managers to provide daily HR guidance, while understanding their business needs and delivering the business objectives.
• Challenge organizational norms and affect significant change within the business and HR function.
• Maintain an employee advocacy role while demonstrating strong change management skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 5 years of demonstrated strategic HR business partnership experience. A Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• Prior experience leading continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience being a strategic HR professional with exposure to driving organizational change.
• Clear and concise communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence all levels of the organization.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship. 
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance. 

Preferred Requirements:

• Manufacturing or nuclear experience.
• A Lean Six Sigma or Operational Excellence certification.
