Job Description and Responsibilities
We areseeking anexperienced Human ResourcesBusinessPartner to join our Portland, ORteam.Thisdynamichuman resourcesroleis a keystakeholderto multipleseniorleaders,managersand allfirstlineleadersassuch,requiresexceptionalcollaboration skillsand a proven ability tobuildstrong productiverelationshipsacrossthebusiness.Thisrolefunctionsatboth tacticaland strategiclevelsbyproviding advice,counselandcoaching on allmattersrelating to humancapital.
- Exerciseconsiderablejudgmentand discretion inestablishing and maintaining good workingrelationshipswithemployeesandmembers of management
- Work closelywith managementand employeestoimproveworkrelationships,build morale,andincreaseproductivity and retention
- EnsurestheHumanResourcesfunctions' prioritiesand effortsarecustomer-centricand aligned totheexecution of thebusinessstrategy
- Responsible for developing,managing,and enhancing a variety of training and developmentprogramsand otherprogramsasassigned
- Ensurestransactionalbasicsarefunctioning and delivering effectiveand efficientservices
- Providesday-to-dayperformancemanagementguidanceto management:coaching,counseling,careerdevelopmentand disciplinaryactions
- Coach leadersatalllevelsstrengthen leadership capabilityand effectiveness
- Providesconsultativesupport to managementforthe consistentand appropriateapplication of policiesand procedures
- Responsible for maintaining thehighestlevel of integrity,professionalism,fairness,andconfidentialityin allaspects of job performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’sDegreein human resources, business, organizationaldevelopment, management or a related field
- Minimum of5 years' progressive experience in Human Resources; preference of 7 years (with 5 in an Human ResourcesBusinessPartner role)
- Broad knowledge of human resourcespractices includingcompensation,performancemanagement,leadership development,employeerelations,changemanagementandorganizationaldevelopment
- Ability to analyze complex data and highly proficient in Excel
- Experienceresolving complexemployeerelationsmatters and leading investigations
- Previousmanufacturing industryexperience, preferred
- Mature,collaborative,hands on and tacticallyfocused professional
- Demonstratedability to successfully workunderpressureand handlemultiplehighlysensitiveissuessimultaneously whilemanaging competing prioritiesand stakeholders
- Provenability to develop a trueHRBusinessPartnerrelationship
