SUMMARY:
PrideStaff is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support the daily operations of our clients' HR department; This critical role will support the HR Manager with numerous human resource functions, including fully cycle recruitment, benefits, record maintenance, HRIS, employee relations, training and payroll. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and exceptional customer service skills are required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize HRIS and time for data entry, modification, reporting, and auditing to ensure our employee data is timely and accurate.
- Time and Attendance maintenance – setting up time clock badges, approver logins, record management and training new users in the time and attendance system (Kronos)
- Coordinate the full cycle recruiting process. Managing job postings, scheduling phone screens, interviews, background checks, employment verifications and new hire orientation. The HR coordinator may also conduct screening interviews for non-exempt roles.
- Assists with the administration of employee benefit programs, enter and maintain employee data in the carrier site; Audit all benefit accounts and examine records to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards and regulations.
- Manage company training files. Including new hire and ongoing training. Working with department managers to ensure on the job training is being completed and documented. Updating training programs as necessary.
- Manage and maintain employee files according to document retention policy.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees on HR related questions and concerns to help create a positive workplace.
- Assist in front desk administrative operations and assist customers
Skills and Knowledge
- 2-4 year of experience in an HR related role or an Associate’s degree with an emphasis in HR and 1 year of related experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications and other software applications as required, (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint); experience working with an HRIS highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of employees, customers, and visitors
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and ethical behavior.
- Bilingual Spanish desired but not required
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Current knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $24.00 - $29.00 Per Hour
