QTalent Solutions is looking to hire a Human Resources Coordinator for our client, a fintech company based in historic New York City.
Reporting to the Head of HR, the Human Resource Coordinator will support our HR team by coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, and handling various HR projects. The ideal candidate will be able to manage competing priorities, deal with stakeholders, and create systems that streamline processes. Salary: $70k - $80k
Responsibilities:
Interview Coordination & Scheduling:
- Spearhead interview scheduling, panel coordination, and feedback management to streamline the hiring process for 100-200 interviews per month.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders to manage calendars, ensuring timely communication and scheduling of interviews.
- Develop and implement interview process guides for candidates, providing a clear overview and tips to enhance their experience.
- Coordinate feedback from interview panels and candidates, ensuring thorough follow-ups and timely decisions.
Recruiting Support:
- Conduct phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Create and update job descriptions with hiring managers to reflect role requirements and expectations accurately.
- Manage job postings and candidate tracking across an ATS platform, ensuring data accuracy and prompt communication.
- Assist in creating scorecards for interviews and evaluations, helping standardize the assessment of candidates.
- Disposition candidates and manage job postings as needed, maintaining compliance with internal and external requirements.
HR Project Management:
- Handle special HR projects, including employee engagement initiatives, in-person and remote event coordination, and culture enhancement activities.
- Lead or assist in organizing employee engagement events to foster a positive and inclusive company culture.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations across departments.
Administrative & Systems Management:
- Finalize I-9 forms ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Manage and optimize internal systems such to streamline candidate tracking and hiring metrics.
- Maintain accurate and organized candidate records and HR files to support reporting and compliance efforts.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or work experience equivalent.
- Two (2) years of Human Resource experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to handle difficult stakeholders and unresponsive candidates.
- Ability to create job descriptions, interview process guides, and evaluation scorecards.
- Experience managing high-volume interview schedules and maintaining effective communication across all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to manage special HR projects and employee engagement initiatives.
- Proficiency in Greenhouse, Google Suite, and Microsoft 365 for tracking and optimizing hiring processes.
- Strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Excellent administrative skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience leading or participating in culture-enhancing initiatives.
- Familiarity with creating systems to improve the candidate experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of hands-on experience in HR or recruiting roles.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) like Greenhouse.
- Strong Excel, reporting, and general HR knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Experience handling HR administrative tasks with confidentiality
