About the Job
The HR Director leads efforts related to creating positive employee relations and proactively shapes a work environment that attracts and engages the workforce. The HR Director formulates and cultivates partnerships across the states/region and serves as an advisor, as well as business partner, to regional leadership. The HR Director’s responsibilities include planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the culture & people strategy, employee relations, employee retention & engagement, talent acquisition, talent management, and leadership coaching & development
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the business, leadership, and teams to identify opportunities, align efforts, and enable the business to achieve its strategic objectives & goals.
- Oversee and manage the HR Business Partners supporting the assigned locations
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Lead employee engagement initiatives
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Provide day-to-day guidance to organizational leadership (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Develop and revise policies and procedures as needed
- Provide guidance and input on respective locations reorganization, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs
- 10+ years of HR experience in a professional setting
- 3-5 years of HR leadership, managing direct reports
- Experience leading HR initiatives in a multi-site, multi-state environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
