What Will I Do?
The Human Resources Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations for MAX Service Group by leading a team of HR Business Partners, the HR Operations team (payroll, HRIS and benefits) and Recruitment. The Human Resources Director will work as a strategic business partner to the organization by providing HR expertise and partnership to business leaders and collaborating at all levels to drive the development and implementation of HR strategies. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated HR leader who wants to influence the development of HR programs and practices while ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy.

- Lead the day-to-day human resources team to deliver operational and functional excellence.
- Collaborate with business leaders to drive the development and implementation of HR strategies to support the organization’s goals and strategic initiatives related to talent management and development, workforce planning, employee experience, benefits and compensation programs and strategies.
- Coaches and empowers leaders throughout the employee life cycle, regarding HR matters/challenges and facilitates effective and proactive decision-making to ensure solutions are realistic, fair, timely, consistent, transparent, and effective.
- Support leaders with performance management concerns and assist in progressive discipline and Performance Improvement Plan processes.
- Support and assist in execution of talent retention initiatives through progressive HR practices, leveraging key metrics and internal/external analysis.
- Identifies staffing and recruiting needs, collaborating with recruiting leadership partners on best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Participate in the strategy, design, implementation, and management of internal compensation programs.
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs. Create and update policies and procedures, as necessary.
- Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization’s human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system: UKG, iCIMS, HSD Metrics and related software.
- Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
- Performs other duties as required.
Do I Have What it Takes?
- Bachelor degree, Graduate degree
- 5-10 Years experience HR Management, Leadership and Development
- PHR or SHRM certifications
- Ability to do occasional regional travel to different branches
