Job Overview:
The Human Resources Director will partner with the CEO and senior leadership to create and implement strategic and tactical HR solutions that align with the business priorities. Specific focus will be in talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, employee engagement, leadership, training, development, retention and HRIS.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Create an engaging and inclusive culture where employees can develop and grow professionally.
- Cultivate a healthy and safe work environment.
- Establish key set of HR metrics to align with achieving business priorities.
- Design and implement an effective Total Rewards Strategy.
- Possess in-depth experience managing employee relations issues and conducting investigations where outcomes are fair and consistent, recognizing the employee needs while protecting the needs of the business.
- Identify staffing and recruiting needs based on business priorities.
- Anticipate people-related issues and readily provide proactive solutions.
- Leverage data and technology to better streamline and optimize HR processes and procedures.
- Deep understanding of current labor laws, regulations, employment laws, and compliance requirements to ensure business practices are ethical and legal.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and innovative technologies in human resources management.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Education:
- BS/BA in Human Resource Management, Industrial & Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related discipline.
- Master's Degree in Human Resources or Business preferred.
Experience:
- 10+ years progressive experience in Human Resource Management with roles of increasing scope and responsibility affording deep exposure to the HR sub-functional areas to include organizational design, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance & talent management, learning & development and HRIS. Prior experience in similar health care segment preferred.
- Experience with ADP preferred.
