Based out of our Torrington Connecticut location, you will collaborate intimately with the business, delivering both strategic guidance and hands-on support across various HR disciplines
This includes talent management, employee relations, coaching, development, compensation, conflict management, organizational development, and training
The HR Director crafts comprehensive business plans to effectively address these areas
Key duties encompass managing employee relations, administering performance systems, ensuring legal compliance, and overseeing benefits, payroll, and HRIS operations
Additionally, the HR Director spearheads HR projects, optimizes shared service efficiencies, and guarantees that global performance management processes are both effective and aligned with the company’s objectives.In addition, you will:Work closely with site management, regional shared service, and global HR process owners to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives
Act as a key change agent, supporting organizational design, growth, and restructuring processes.Along with site HR Business Partner, act as the first point of contact for all on-site employee relations issues, ensuring they are handled fairly and legally
Collaborate with the centralized HR shared services for complex matters and to ensure consistent policy application across the company.Facilitate the performance management process at the site, including goal setting, feedback, and employee development plans
Partner with regional HR shared services and global process owners on talent management strategies and succession planning
Identify training needs and individual executive coaching needs
Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs
Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met. Work with regional shared services to manage training requests, budget, and optimize spend.Ensure all HR policies and procedures are implemented consistently at the site level
Stay updated with employment laws and regulations
