Human Resources Generalist - Ferretti Search

In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our client's HR department, ensuring a smooth and efficient employee experience.

Responsibilities:

• Source, screen, interview, and hire top talent to join our team.
• Develop and implement new hire orientation programs to welcome new employees.
• Administer employee pay, benefits, and leave of absence programs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Track and document employee training and development needs.
•  Conduct or acquire background checks and handle employee relations matters.
• Address employee questions and concerns, manage conflict resolution, and participate in disciplinary meetings.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date on HR trends, best practices, and technological advancements.

Requirements:

• Written and verbal communication are essential for interacting with employees at all levels.
• Build strong relationships, negotiate effectively, and resolve conflict with a positive and professional approach.
• Juggle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
• Manage your time effectively to ensure all HR functions run smoothly.
• Analyze situations, identify solutions, and make sound decisions.
• Prioritize tasks and delegate effectively when appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all HR matters.
• Possess a thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new HR software systems.
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
