Monarch Staffing Solutions is looking for a dedicated Human Resource Generalist to join our client, a leading organization in the healthcare sector. This role is vital for supporting the daily functions of the HR department, ensuring compliance, and creating a positive work environment. Compensation: $51,000-$60,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary Point of Contact: Be the go-to resource for daily HR inquiries, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Performance Management: Assist in administering performance evaluations, including annual, introductory, and ad-hoc assessments.
- Leave & Benefits Administration: Manage ADA programs, FMLA, Short-Term Disability, Workers Compensation, and benefits administration, including enrollments, COBRA, and more.
- Employee Relations: Support employee relations functions, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Credentialing & Compliance: Assist with credentialing processes and maintain compliance with quality care initiatives and regulatory standards.
- Payroll Support: Serve as a backup for biweekly payroll processing.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, both paper and electronic.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional growth through educational programs and conferences.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, including performance management, benefits, leave administration, employee relations, payroll, and compliance.
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build positive working relationships.
- Discretion and judgment in handling sensitive information.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience with UKG HRIS.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in behavioral health or community mental health.
Additional Information:
- Travel: Occasional travel during the workday to various locations may be required.
- Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment.
