Key Responsibilities:
- HR Support: Be the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries and ensure company policies are followed.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes to attract top talent.
- Compliance & Credentialing: Ensure compliance with employment laws and assist with credentialing.
- Performance Management: Help administer performance evaluations and ongoing employee feedback.
- Benefits & Leave Management: Oversee programs like ADA, FMLA, Workers Compensation, and benefits administration.
- Employee Relations: Support investigations, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives
- Payroll Support: The ideal candidate will be responsible for biweekly payroll processing
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized, accurate employee files.
- Professional Growth: Stay engaged in HR industry trends through training and conferences.
What You’ll Need:
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 2 years of payroll processing and HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR regulations.
- Experience with electronic payroll systems and employee benefits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Preferred:
- 1 year of HR management experience.
- SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- ADP Workforce Now experience
Additional Information:
- Travel: Occasional local travel may be required.
- Work Environment: Office-based with standard office equipment.
