HR Generalist
Ability Matters is seeking compassionate and dedicated employees to join our team immediately. Support includes daily life skills, community integration through outside activities, and assisting in medical care (when applicable).
Currently, we are seeking a Human Resources Generalist who will assist the HR Team with a variety of compliance tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Responsible for the recruiting, interviewing and onboarding staff primarily with our Education Team.
- Facilitates new hire orientation.
- Provide 10-12 hours of billable services with students or consumers.
- Primary HR contact with our Education Team.
- Prepares all employee compliance files as required by the State of Ohio, DODD, and the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks.
- Ability to work with consumers 2 days per week.
- Possess and maintain all required DODD training offerings.
- Pass a background check.
- Pass a drug test.
- Possess and maintain a driving record with less than six (6) points.
