Responsibilities:
- Oversee payroll, compensation, benefits programs, recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Develop and monitor annual HR and payroll budgets in collaboration with Finance.
- Serve as the primary contact with external HR partners, including consultants, attorneys, and insurance brokers.
- Manage employee relations and provide coaching to supervisors and managers on team development and employee performance.
- Lead employee training programs and external consultant selection to meet company needs.
- Guide recruiting and hiring processes, ensuring best practices.
- Foster a positive employer-employee relationship, enhancing morale and motivation.
- Handle investigations into employee complaints and concerns.
- Ensure company compliance with all employment laws and government regulations (e.g., EEO, FMLA, OSHA).
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness with the external market.
- Participate in organizational planning and forecasting to align personnel with company goals.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, and employee relations.
