The ideal candidate will manage a range of HR functions, from benefits administration to employee recruitment, and will foster a positive and productive work environment. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and HR management skills, with a focus on compliance, employee development, and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and addressing employee inquiries.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and ensure continuous growth.
- Manage social media related to HR initiatives and enhance internal communications.
- Administer and maintain the HR system (Paycom) for effective data management.
- Support and lead change management efforts within the organization.
- Handle recruitment, onboarding, and performance management, ensuring a smooth hiring process.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and management, providing guidance on employee development, coaching, and recognition.
- Develop and maintain personnel policies and ensure compliance with best practices and legal changes.
- Manage employee leaves of absence, short-term disability, worker's compensation, and PTO.
- Coordinate employee benefits, working closely with health insurance providers to resolve claims.
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from job postings to onboarding new hires.
- Assist with payroll administration and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain employee personnel files and ensure all HR records comply with legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding HR matters.
- Demonstrate professionalism and provide excellent customer service to employees and leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in benefits administration and training development.
- Familiarity with HR systems (Paycom preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of change management principles and HR best practices.
- Experience in recruiting, payroll, employee relations, and compliance.
- SPHR certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience required.
