Adagio Health Inc is looking to hire a full-time Human Resources Generalist for its Pittsburgh, PA central office.

For over 50 years, Adagio Health (AH) has provided health, wellness, & nutrition services in Pennsylvania (PA). Today, the organization serves approximately 100,000 patients & clients annually. While women's health is a primary focus for the organization, reproductive health, breast & cervical cancer screening, & preventive health services are also offered to men, teens, members of the LGBTQ+ community, & anyone in need of care in a welcoming, confidential setting. AH operates 9 medical offices in western PA that also address social determinants of health such as food insecurity, behavioral health, & care navigation; manages the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) program in 5 PA counties; promotes tobacco/vaping prevention & cessation; oversees breast & cervical cancer screening & treatment programs across PA; & empowers local communities to address nutritional, reproductive, & behavioral health; positive relationship building; & life skills through an array of clinical & education programs.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
This is a new position, joining a small but mighty HR team for a health and wellness non-profit based in Pittsburgh PA. On a typical day, you will address employee and manager questions and requests on a variety of topics, oversee Recruiting efforts in partnership with the HR Assistant, and work on new initiatives or improvements in key areas such as recruiting, onboarding, and communication. You will use your HR experience and knowledge to grow and expand your skill set, and make an important contribution to the employees and mission of Adagio Health.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
- Bachelors Degree - ideally HR, Business, or Communications
- At least 3 years experience in Human Resources in a generalist or specialist capacity. Recruiting experience strongly preferred, solid foundation in HR fundamentals and compliance. Ideally experience with employee communications and project management.
- Communications experience with the ability to translate complex concepts into understandable messages, strong written and verbal skills
- Key skills - consulting, confidentiality, attention to detail, critical thinking, results orientation and strong computer skill in HRIS (isolved software preferred)
- Preferred: People management experience, PHR certification
