The Commercial Human Resource team is looking for a passionate individual who will serve as HR client support to our Commercial Intern programs. This is a part-time internship opportunity based at GE Appliances Headquarters in Louisville, KY that will serve through Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 semesters. In this role, you will gain experience influencing and coaching early career talent, navigate cross-functional projects, establish new processes, assist with recruiting efforts, all while learning from a forward-thinking, experienced HR team.

How You'll Create Possibilities
+ Serve as an HR partner to the Commercial Intern Program Leaders (Year Round), as well as HR client support for ~30-35 interns total
+ Drive employee engagement and conversion efforts to pipeline the Commercial Development Program and other entry-level roles in Sales, Marketing and Owner Channel.
+ Partner with University Relations Manager, Program Leaders, Sales I&D Recruiting council to establish university partnerships and campus involvements at 3-5 identified schools.
+ Partner with Commercial HRMs to establish new processes for the centralized program (i.e. process for business leaders to request an intern, how roles will be selected, create a recruiting dashboard to manage onboarding and off-
+ boarding of interns, project hiring needs, establish employee tracking and KPIs for intern populations, create a communication plan for current intern managers, among other projects to best support the remodel of this program.
+ Provide additional support in HR projects, tasks, needs and initiatives as needed across Commercial.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
+ Must be a full-time student currently enrolled in a 4 year-college or university program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
+ Must be able to work up to 20hrs weekly during the school year.
+ Must be located in Louisville, KY and able to work spring and summer semester with the potential to continue on into the fall.
+ Must hold and maintain a minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 overall grade point average.
+ Demonstrates effective communication skills (verbal and written), professionalism, takes initiative, works well cross-functionally.
+ Passionate to develop young professionals, has the ability to influence others and think creatively.
+ Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
+ Must have unrestricted US work authorization. We will not sponsor now or in the future.
