We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Human Resources Manager to join our Accounting + Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who is passionate about people and looking to make a significant impact in a growing organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of HR operations, including compliance, talent management, benefits administration, performance management, and policy implementation. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure a seamless experience for all candidates.
3. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
4. Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
5. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management by enforcing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
6. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
7. Nurture a positive working environment by ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
8. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
9. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
10. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a Human Resources Manager role.
3. Proven experience in the Accounting + Finance industry is preferred.
4. Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
5. In-depth understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
6. Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
8. Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives.
9. Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
10. Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.
11. A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element.
12. Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
13. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
14. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
15. Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.
16. Professional certification (e.g., PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) is a plus.
