Our established business partner in the Fresno Area is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join its dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, this fast-paced position is responsible for leading human resources functions including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, training and development, payroll, employee events, and engagement activities. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Full cycle recruitment from sourcing and reviewing candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews;
- Ensure hiring managers are equipped to effectively contribute to hiring decisions;
- Initiate the onboarding process; drive onboarding and employee integration process;
- Stay apprised of forecasted staffing needs, including tracking employee leaves of absence and others factors that may impact staffing and recruitment needs;
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues; including investigating employee issues and conflicts and bringing them to resolution;
- Keep a pulse on Multifamily employee engagement through regular property visits, check-ins with managers and employees;
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees; reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance;
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance for line management including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions as appropriate;
- Collaborate on operational tasks for a multifamily residentials including onboarding and offboarding procedures, timekeeping, payroll, and benefits administration.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred;
- Five years of experience in Human Resources Management or equivalent combination of education and experience in Human Resources role.
- PHR, PHR-CA, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal employment laws and ability to incorporate them into policies, procedures, and practices.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality; prioritize tasks under the pressure of competing deadlines.
- Valid California Driver’s License with proof of Automobile Insurance.
Position offers a competitive salary between $65,000 and $85,000 annually with a generous benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Lif Insurance, PTO, Sick Time, and 401(k) with Company match.
