Human Resources Manager
The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overall responsibility of the day-to-day Human Resources operation.
Responsibilities:- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
- Oversee administration of benefits, compensation and employee communications.
- Plan and direct employee events including recognition and welfare programs.
- Report and follow up on all employee inquiries.
- Respond to workers compensation and unemployment claims.
- Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
- Manage employee leave of absences.
- Conduct investigations on employee matters and provide appropriate reports and follow up.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.

- Minimum 2 years previous experience as an Human Resources Manager or similar position
- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Hospitality Management or relevant field; additional education/certification in Human Resource Management will be a plus
- Broad knowledge of the human resources functions and processes including best practices and current trends; knowledgeable in MS Office, HRIS systems
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
- Physical demands: sedentary work – exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
