Position Summary
The HR Manager will oversee and manage all human resources functions, including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, policies & procedures, training & development and compliance. This is a critical role in shaping a high-performance culture and supporting our teams through rapid growth. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader, skilled in managing people, processes, policies, and developing HR strategies directly aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor and resource for employees and managers, addressing questions, concerns, and conflicts professionally and confidentially.
- Foster an inclusive and positive company culture by implementing employee engagement and recognition processes.
- Develop and execute programs to enhance company culture, increase employee satisfaction and inclusivity, and reduce turnover.
Performance Management:
- Oversee performance review processes, working with managers to establish clear objectives and provide constructive feedback.
- Implement and manage programs for performance improvement, goal-setting, and professional development.
- Support leadership in creating a culture of accountability, recognition, and career growth.
HR Compliance & Policy Development:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and company goals.
- Lead investigations into employee relations issues and ensure timely resolution in alignment with company policies.
Compensation & Benefits Administration:
- Manage and administer employee benefits program(s), including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Collaborate with finance and leadership to review and recommend compensation structures that attract and retain talent.
- Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
HR Systems & Process Improvement:
- Evaluate, implement, and manage HRIS systems to streamline and automate HR processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in HR workflows and data management.
- Leverage HR analytics to provide data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in HR management, ideally within a fast-paced or high-growth organization.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels. Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred.
- Technology: Proficiency with HRIS and other HR technology systems; MS Office Suite.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and developing HR teams with a collaborative and results-oriented approach.
- Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage change effectively.
