We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. The Human Resources Manager position is based out of Winston-Salem, NC and will be responsible for managing the employee life cycle of the Southeast Division. The division has facilities located in North Carolina, Virginia, and Johnson City, TN. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work and make decisions independently, and travel within the division.
What You Will Do
- Talent Acquisition: develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent and align with business objectives
- Employee Development: Lead initiatives for employee growth and career development, including facilitating training programs and conducting coaching session
- Employee Engagement: Drive employee engagement efforts by fostering a positive work environment and promoting internal communication
- Strategic business partner for the division
- Administration of benefits and leaves
- Administration of HRIS and ATS
- Assist with employee issues or concerns
- Other duties as required.

- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on empathy and emotional intelligence, crucial for addressing employee concerns
- Strong communication skills to successfully interact with employees and management
- Strong comprehension skills to interpret federal, state, and local employment laws
- Strong writing skills to effectively communication with third party vendors
- Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems such as UKG and UltiPro
- Ability to present information to large groups effectively
- Ability to work and make decision independently
- Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once
- Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with attention to detail
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- Ability to travel
Nice To Have:
- Four (4) years’ experience in the Human Resource field
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
