About the Job
Our client, a chemical technology company, is interested in having a Human Resources Manager join their team and aid in HR initiatives throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their experience in benefits administration, compensation management, employee relations, and performance management. You will be responsible for driving the HR function forward and providing guidance and strategic leadership while ensuring compliance company-wide.
Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefits programs such as retirement plans; medical, dental, vision plans; life insurance plans; temporary disability programs; wellness programs
- Develop and implement competitive compensation strategies that fit our company's culture and budget
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages open communication, trust, and mutual respect
- Design and implement performance management frameworks encompassing goal-setting, evaluations, and feedback mechanisms
- Provide managerial coaching on performance-related aspects, encompassing goal alignment and recognition initiatives
- Conduct in-depth analyses of performance data to drive continuous improvement strategies
- Ensure company-wide compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Maintain meticulous HR documentation and records, including employee files and compliance reports
- Stay abreast of legislative updates, proactively adjusting policies and practices as necessary
- Lead various HR projects to improve productivity and employee satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
- Proven 7-10 years' experience as an HR Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices / HR trends
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exhibits a strategic mindset, adept at aligning HR initiatives with overarching business goals
- Proficient in HRIS platforms and other pertinent HR software applications
- Preferred certifications include SHRM or HRCI accreditation
