This is a contract to hire position in Santa Clara, CA
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Payroll Duties:
- Process Semi-Monthly payroll on the ADP portal
- Maintain payroll records on the ADP portal
- Process monthly payroll for US and International Subsidiaries
- Calculate and maintain employee benefits such as 401K, Medical FSA deductions for payroll processing Handle new enrollment for Medical, Dental Vision benefits deduction
- Liaise with 401K Administrator/Charles Schwab on record keeping of Loans and Rollovers Calculate and maintain vacation and End of Services balances
- Reconcile payroll expenses, taxes and deductions accounts
- Post ADP payroll entries via QuickBooks file upload
- Generate monthly Headcount report
- Provide payroll/HR data for census report and year-end audit report
- Ensure proper W-2, quarterly tax filing for all entities and jurisdictions
- Maintain Employee files, Active and Terminated, US and international
- Handle all IRS, EDD, SSI government agencies inquiries
- Maintain Employee Stock Options files, Option plans and options exercised package Handle incoming resumes and new hire employee package
- Coordinate new hire orientation and termination exit interview
- Maintain Company Policy manual, process and procedures
- Maintain Company's Organization Chart
- Coordinate with recruiting agency and local University recruiting administration Provide payroll/HR data for census report and year-end audit report
- Execute monthly payment for medical insurance providers.
- Liaise with 401K Administrator/Charles Schwab on record keeping of Loans and Rollovers Handle employment verification
- Coordinate with Legal Agency for H-1B visa and green card process
- Annual Medical insurance renewal with insurance broker
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a payroll processor, ADP preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- General understanding of payroll tax regulations and labor law
- Experience on H-1B and green card work visa application plus
- 4 years college degree, GAAP Accounting background a plus
- Office Suite user
