Human Resources Project Specialist - Land O'Lakes Inc.

We are seeking a highly motivated person to join our HR Special Operations team as a Project Specialist.

As part of this team, you will act as an agile resource, supporting HR's key strategic efforts. Whether it's managing a project or providing additional capacity on a key initiative, in this role, you will have the ability to take an enterprise lens to the work we do across HR, engaging in projects and partnering with managers across all business units, divisions, departments, and regions.

This role is located at our corporate headquarters in Arden Hills, MN (Hybrid work arrangement each week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Special Projects:
  
  • Project manage a variety of initiatives concurrently, ensuring outstanding prioritization and execution against key objectives.
    
  • Act as a consultant or additional project resource under the guidance of a different project manager.
    

• Enhanced Capacity:
  
  • Work across all businesses and areas within HR to deliver enterprise-wide services and solutions support, such as assisting in reorganizations, partnering with HR colleagues on performance management, and providing flexible support to COEs.
    
  • Engage in long-term assignments (+6 months) to specific areas of HR in support of strategic goals.
    

• Teaching & Learning:
  
  • Consistently expand project management and other key skills through networking, formal and informal training, and other means available.
    
  • Share learning across the Special Operations team, promote project management consistency across the HR organization through role modeling, formal offerings, and networking, and perform other duties as assigned.
    

Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of work experience
  
• Experience supporting the business and bringing multiple stakeholders together, while challenging them when needed
  
• Willingness to be different, lead and stand out
  
• Motivation and commitment to embrace the inherent pressure of managing high profile projects
  
• Excitement about blazing trails, stepping outside of the norm and helping to shape the project management culture across HR and beyond

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree and 1+ years of HR experience
  
• Process improvement experience
