The Shire is under new management and has been renovating the facility since 2020. The Shire is an assisted living facility, family owned and operated, in Rochester, NY. Duties and Responsibilities iclude but not limited to:
· Oversight of routine audits related to quality assurance, quality improvement, and quality controls.
· Provides education to staff in the facility as it pertains to quality assurance, quality improvements, and quality controls.
· Participates in the performance improvement functions by collecting and verifying data, as needed. Ensures required audits are completed as needed or requested.
· Exhibits genuine interest in and appreciation of adults in the later years of life. Advocates for the residents and staff of the facility.
· Communicates and works collaboratively with Regional HR Director.
· Works closely and facilitates with Department Managers the completion of all pre-hire/new hire paperwork efficiently and timely.
· Responsible for completing and submitting Employee Information Sheets (EIS) for all necessary changes.
· Maintains accurate records of employment as regulated and as per company policies.
· Facility appointed Corporate Compliance Officer who is responsible for duties/responsibilities associated – refer to Compliance Policy.
· Responsible for assigning orientation to all employees. Maintains an active and welcoming environment to promote effective onboarding and good customer service.
· Monitors and submits all applicable employees to CHRC. Responsible for all recordkeeping of CHRC documents once turned in by Department Managers. (supervisory tracking forms) Communicates immediately to the Facility Administrator of negative determination letters.
· Responsible for Home Care Registry and assures HCR is accurate and current. Knowledge of applicable regulations in the area.
· Maintains facility I-9 binder per regulation.
· Process all terminations timely and efficiently.
· Weekly payroll processing.
Requirements:
- Experience in Assisted Living/Adult Home
- Experience and knowledge of Human Resources
