About the Job
The Human Resources (HR) Research Specialist will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, and legal compliance.
- Use data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to senior leadership.
- Work extensively with data and gather essential insights that guide business administration decisions, and that help streamline personnel processes.
- Gather statistics on compensation for specific job openings, analyze results from employee satisfaction surveys, evaluate training results, and more.
- Develop and maintain a dashboard of relevant HR data and statistics.
- Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
- Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
- Work with departments to enhance operational efficiency related to personnel by identifying, interpreting, and relating department data.
- Develop, monitor, and report metrics to support the mission of the organization.
- Compile HR data and metrics from the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management, and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, labor statistics, and other sources.
- Provide thorough data analysis that assists senior HR professionals and Administration in crucial decision-making.
- Help streamline HR processes by suggesting relevant insights and analyzing data about key HR processes.
- Develop, analyze, and prepare numerous reports leveraging the HRIS, Neogov, and other data systems to prepare EEO Analysis and Utilization reports, HRM Pay Detail Reports, Hire and Separation Reports, Vacancy Reports, Plan Transfer Reports, Deduction Reports, Compensation Reports, Service Reports, and more.
- Track and analyze turnover rates, and absenteeism.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
