HVAC Controls Technician - Facility Services HVAC Company - Base Salary to 40.00/hour - Charlotte, NC

• Our client, a well established HVAC Commercial Facility Services company is seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Technician who is driven by a passion for continuous personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and programming building automation control systems
• Respond promptly to service requests, recognizing the time sensitivity in preventing product spoilage and customer impact
• Conduct Programming and/or troubleshooting various brands of HVAC controls products to include Metasys, Tridium Niagara, Distech, and Wonderware
• Experience with BAS communication protocols to include BACnet MSTP, BACnet IP, N2, P1, Modbus, LON, etc
• Read / understand technical drawings, schematics, ladder logic
• Thoroughly evaluate situations to identify the root cause of failures, recommending preventive measures
• Performs electrical work and operate various hand and power tools required to perform job.
• Travel to job sites in company van/truck with some overnight stays

Qualifications:

• Understanding HVAC systems, sequence and applications
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
• Ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including but not limited to standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment; working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions
• Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Flexibility to work variable and flexible hours that may include evening or weekends
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to obtain additional licenses and certifications as needed

Compensation:

• Base salary to 40.00/hour
