Our client, an Engineering Consulting firm in the Western Suburbs, is currently looking to hire an HVAC Design Engineer to join their team in their Elk Grove Village, IL office.
The HVAC Design Engineer is a critical position that assists with the engineering of building systems for a wide variety of commercial buildings.

The HVAC Design Engineer is a critical position that assists with the engineering of building systems for a wide variety of commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Designing systems for Schools, Municipal, Healthcare, and Retail buildings.
- Work closely with other designers and engineers to create project construction documents
- Ability to start a project and take it through the final stages of the project.
- 3+ years experience in HVAC/Mechanical design for all types of commercial buildings.
- Thorough knowledge of the field.
- Project Management experience is desirable.
- Leadership abilities and ability to work independently but also within a team
environment. - A P.E. license is helpful but not necessary.
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD.
- Revit MEP is a plus.
