HVAC Designer - Paychex

Hiring a HVAC Designer with working knowledge of AutoCAD.  Responsibilities include the design of HVAC systems.  Role includes performing HVAC design on background AutoCAD files from architects including heat gain/less calculations and energy compliance reports.  The role also includes addressing plan review comments with revisions, creating as-builts from field redlines, Value Engineering and answering questions regarding the design from the field.  On-the-job training available for those individuals not possessing all the skills or experience below.

Experience/Skills:

• Technical experience with small commercial HVAC systems
• Prior hands-on field or HVAC construction experience
• HVAC design engineering
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems
• Computer literate with general knowledge in MS Office products
• Self-motivated, can work independently or as a team member
• Excellent writing and verbal communication as well as phone skills
• Experience using Salesforce CRM or willing to learn
• Organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize
• Punctuality
