HVAC INSTALLER
POSITION SUMMARY
The HVAC Installer position replaces, modifies, and/or installs air conditioners and heaters, to meet or exceed the manufacturer's recommendations, AC's Heating & Air standards and local codes. Our HVAC Installer must be able to troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair all issues that arise during an installation that would keep the equipment from functioning properly. They must be able to communicate with the client regarding the proper operation and owner's maintenance of the installed equipment and answer related questions as to operation, features, and functions. |

OBJECTIVES
â— Install heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers, and commercial as needed â— Travel to job sites in service area and work with the dispatch team to ensure schedule is maintained â— Provide exceptional service by communicating regularly with the homeowner throughout the installation process â— Utilize an iPad to debrief and enter relevant information â— Participate in company-provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies |

â— Good customer service skills- must be friendly and approachable, good communicator and professional â— High attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work â— Time management skills â— Ability to problem solve to effectively troubleshoot HVAC systems for installation and repair â— Must have mechanical skills and understanding of tools needed to complete work on machines |
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
â— High School Diploma or GED required â— Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC Installation experience required â— NATE Certified, Indoor Air Quality, and Sales experience a plus â— Must possess current state driver's license and clean driving record â— EPA Certification a plus |
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
â— Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking â— Must be able to lift at least 50lbs â— Will be in proximity to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations â— Employees may be exposed to moderate levels of noise and wildlife - birds, rodents, etc. (living and/or dead) â— Wear safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing â— Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting â— Work in high or elevated places â— Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential requirements |
