HVAC Mechanic II - Complete Building Services

About the Job
The HVAC Mechanic II installs, services and repairs all components or sub-components of commercial and industrial heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Mechanics at this level install, diagnose problems and repair commercial and industrial heat pumps and centralized air conditioning systems up to 250 tons with multiple zone applications. Shift M-F 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
- Operate, install, maintain, service and diagnose hydronic systems including piping system, pumps, valves, flow controls devices, cooling towers, fluid tube bundles and coils
- Operate, install, maintain, service and diagnose air moving and control equipment-including ducts, blowers, fans, dampers, VAV, VVT and condensate control devices
- Operate, install, maintain, service and diagnose refrigerant using HVAC systems, including ductless split, ducted split, water source package, RTU, CRAC, chillers and specialty refrigeration systems
- Operate, install, maintain, service and diagnose electrical components and control systems supporting HVAC and hydronic equipment, including motors, actuators, transformer, contactors, relays and timers
- Operate computer systems relating to Energy Management System (EMS), time tracking, work recording and email
- Operate, install, maintain, service and diagnose VFD applied to HVAC and pumping systems
- Operate, install, maintain, service and diagnose humidification and dehumidification systems utilizing steam and electrical power for steam generation
- Operate, install, maintain, service and diagnose gas fired burners serving boilers and heat exchanges
- Provides guidance and training in the HVAC Trade
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High School degree or equivalent
- 6 years progressively responsible experience in any combination of air conditioning, refrigeration, temperature control, steam distribution or heating trades
- Universal CFC Certification
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment
- Valid non-commercial driver's license
