JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: Responsible for the operation, repair and
maintenance of all mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and
refrigeration systems in Union South and food service units across
campus. Based on operation needs, employee may be assigned other duties
such as landscaping and planting. Responsibilities: Installs, maintains,
and repairs environmental control or refrigeration equipment to ensure
proper operation of equipment within an assigned facility. May direct
the work of other staff performing routine maintenance and repair
functions. 20% Monitors, tests, maintains, and repairs Heating,
Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, related equipment, and
controls according to established policies and procedures 20% Receives,
prioritizes, and responds to service requests according to established
timelines and policies 20% Identifies, prioritizes, troubleshoots, and
escalates system problems, equipment malfunctions, and repair needs 20%
Performs scheduled preventative and routine maintenance and documents
activity on equipment and systems to ensure optimal and safe operation
15% Develops and schedules operational work plans for staff occasionally
5% Works Special events as required for operational needs Institutional
