Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Service Manager(s) and Install Manager, providing them with guidance and support to achieve their department goals.
- Oversee the performance of the entire HVAC department, including budget management, goal setting, and performance tracking.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute growth strategies, including expanding service offerings and market reach.
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure smooth cross-functional operations (sales, customer service, etc.).
- Analyze service metrics and customer feedback to drive service improvements and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage resources and staffing needs, including recruitment, training, and team development.
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, safety standards, and licensing requirements.
- Drive team performance and accountability through regular coaching, training, and development opportunities for managers and technicians.
As the HVAC Operations Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across our HVAC Service and Install divisions. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing service quality, optimizing operations, and ensuring departmental profitability. You will guide and mentor managers to maximize efficiency and team performance, while ensuring customer satisfaction remains our top priority.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a large, high-growth residential HVAC service organization.
- Experience managing multiple managers and large teams in a service-driven environment.
- Proven track record of delivering operational improvements, driving revenue growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing department budgets and driving profitability.
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills with a focus on team development and mentorship.
- Familiarity with Service Titan (or similar systems) is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams.
- Ability to travel as needed for multi-site management.
