Yearly Salary: $95,000-100,000
Our client is looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager with a focus on HVAC, lighting, and refrigeration improvements in commercial facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site energy assessments for commercial facilities, focusing on HVAC systems, lighting, and refrigeration improvements.
- Identify potential energy efficiency improvements and develop comprehensive scopes of work.
- Accurately estimate total project costs, including materials, labor, and other associated expenses.
- Complete and submit detailed work-orders, including energy assessments, project costs, and savings calculations, within five days of site visits.
- Self-Perform and/or Lead Technician Team to implement Energy Efficiency Projects, including HVAC Replacement, HVAC Maintenance Activities, Motor Replacements, VFD installations, HVAC Controls and various Retro-Commissioning Activities.
- Communicate effectively with commercial clients to explain energy efficiency opportunities, project scope, and financial benefits.
- Maintain accurate records of all assessments, proposals, and communications in Microsoft Excel and other project management tools.
- Ensure data is up-to-date and accessible for reporting and analysis.
- Perform lighting audits to identify potential LED upgrade opportunities
- Serve as the main point of contact for the client
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC systems, energy efficiency, or a related field.
- Experience with lighting audits is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and systems. Ability to identify and evaluate energy efficiency improvements and perform accurate cost estimates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, cost estimation, and reporting.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with customers, team members, and utility representatives.
- Must be local to Frederick County, MD, or willing to relocate.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Candidates with experience in energy efficiency assessments, project scoping, and estimating for HVAC, Lighting, Retro-commissioning, and Commercial Refrigeration upgrades are highly encouraged to apply.
- Relevant certifications (HVAC Master License) or vocational training in HVAC, energy efficiency or commercial systems are a plus.
