Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Working with customers at the sales counter.
- Answering phone calls and emails from customers. Taking notes on what parts and equipment customers need for projects. Supplying quotes when requested.
- Take orders by email, fax, and Internet.
- Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications.
- Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase sales
- Call customers to promote new items and services.
- Pulling orders together using internal and external logistic channels.
- Schedule order for will call or delivery.
- Stocking showroom and warehouse area.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus)
- At least 1 year of experience in a sales role in the HVAC or related wholesale industry
- Solid computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Programs and, ideally, Windows-based CRM programs
- Personable phone skills and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Strong customer service skillset
- Candidates with bilingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred!
