HVAC Residential Installer - Great American Recruiting Company

Job Description: The Residential HVAC Installer works with the crew on the installation of new units and replacement parts and ensures work is completed according to company specifications and established safety guidelines. Supervises and coordinates the operations. Effectively communicates to the customer and answers related questions as to operations and functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Replace/install any heating, air conditioning, refrigeration equipment or complete systems.
• Lead Installation team to work towards production efficiency and quality standards.
• Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications and to detect/locate malfunctions.
• Test electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
• Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and water solution.
• Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, humidistats, and timers, using hand tools.
• Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications.
• Connect electrical wirings according to the diagram, using electricians' hands tool.
• Form complete circuits joining pipes or tubing to the equipment and to the fuel, water, or refrigerants.
• Properly completes paperwork.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:

• Previous experience in related field.
• Valid Driver's license with clean driving records
• Ability to work independently.
• Must possess knowledge of mechanical and electrical codes.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• 4 years prior experience as an HVAC Installer
• Valid Driver license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HVAC codes and proper application
• Knowledge of proper electrical and HVAC safety.
• Ability to explain technical information to customers.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Teamwork oriented.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
