Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.00 an hour depending on experience and credentials + bonus and spiff opportunities ( ability to make $75k-$85k total compensation annually, while some top performers make six figures)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday with the ability to work rotating on-call shifts

Responsibilities:

• Clean, diagnose, adjust, and repair HVAC systems and accessories
• Identify and assess maintenance risks on equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
• Perform cleaning, adjustment, and repair tasks, including warranty services
• Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency repair requests
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training when needed
• Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Adhere to service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements
• Assist customers with questions and guide the best equipment to meet their needs
• Properly document all work performed, findings, and recommendations in invoices submitted to customers

Requirements:

• 1+ year experience as an HVAC technician, with a willingness to continue education in the HVAC field
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• EPA Universal, or the ability to receive within 30 days of employment
• Understanding of principles of heat transfer and airflow
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and to work in confined spaces
